Order Your Plan

Sign up for any Hermes Telco mobile plan. Select "I want to keep my existing number" on the order form.

We Handle the Rest

Provide your current account number and date of birth. We submit the port request to your current provider on your behalf.

Stay Connected

Your number is live on the Hermes network, typically within 1–3 business days. You'll receive an SMS confirmation.

Used to verify your identity with your current provider
Current SIM still active
Do not cancel your current service until porting is complete

Porting Timeframes

Standard port (same day requests before 5pm AEST)1–3 business days

Important Things to Know

⚠️Do not cancel your current service until you receive confirmation that your number has ported to Hermes Telco. Cancelling early may cause your number to be lost.
📱During the porting process, there may be a brief period (usually less than 2 hours) where your number is unavailable. We recommend scheduling your port during business hours.
💰Porting is completely free. Your current provider may have an early termination fee if you are on a contract — this is separate to and not charged by Hermes Telco.
🔄You can port a number from any Australian mobile provider including Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, and other MVNOs.
📋Number porting is governed by the Telecommunications (Mobile Number Portability) Determination 2015. You have the right to port your number under Australian law.

eSIM Support

Hermes Telco supports eSIM activation on compatible devices. If you prefer an eSIM instead of a physical SIM, let us know when ordering and we'll send you an activation QR code by email instead of a physical SIM card.

Compatible with iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later, and most modern Android devices from 2020 onwards.
